TOCAME

TOCÁME is a contemporary flamenco performance by Companía Encuentros about touch, feeling and greetings. Two dancers go in search of the distance from each other and the desire to touch the other; with hands and arms, torsos meeting, feet communicating through rhythm. How do you touch each other? How does a touch feel? Or how do you avoid being touched? What sensation does it give when you greet each other with a hug or a hand or an elbow?

FlamenColores a representation of Compania Encuentros. Our eye is treated to a rich mosaic of colors every day. These create atmosphere and have a certain effect. We are unconsciously influenced by this. Everyone has an emotional color palette on which music and dance mix their colors. Flamenco has a wide range of (sound) colors. The contrasts and diversity herein form the performance.
